If you are submitting your points to another mapper, you need to filter private and duplicate points so that you do not waste the mapper’s time. Check each and every point before you submit and as best as you can, make sure these attributes are also included:
- Point Name – as seen on the ground
- Point Type (Symbol)
- Full address – Building Number, Street Name, Postcode, City and State
- Phone Number
- Comments
This can be done by right-clicking on the point in the Waypoints Tab and choosing Waypoint Properties.
It would also be prudent to split your points into a different file for each city so it can be picked up quickly by a mapper from that city.
